About the author:
KIERAN SHANNON, a columnist with the Irish Examiner and a previous Irish
sports journalist of the year winner, is one of the country’s most respected GAA
journalists and authors, having co-written the autobiographies of Kieran Donaghy
(the 2016 eir sports book of the year), Bernard Brogan and Brian Corcoran as well

as ghosting Mickey Harte’s highly-acclaimed account of Tyrone’s maiden All-
Ireland win, Kicking Down Heaven’s Door.
